This is a trunk show that includes examples of quilts from mid-19th through mid-20th Century. Bonnie will bring a minimum of 25 quilts from her own collection that are representative of American quilting trends spanning 100 years. Participants are urged to bring their vintage quilts for discussion.
The block for the meeting is a house block with an unfinished size of 12 ½” x 12 ½”. The only stipulation is that the sky needs to be a daytime shade of blue. You can make a simple house or you can add a tree or whatever. Pieced, paper pieced or appliqued—your choice!
