Fiber Arts LA Event October 5th
Fiber Arts LA is holding a day of weaving, quilting, spinning, sewing, and knitting demonstrations, exhibits and sharing.
The date is Saturday, October 5th from 10-3 at the Auburn Public Library and is free to the public.
They are looking for a quilter to share their work and volunteer to show a quilting technique (hand quilting, paper piecing, yo-yos, etc.).

Thanks to Donna Brookings, our contact for QOVF, for photos of quilts and their new owners. Many more quilts are in progress, so stand by for more photos soon.
Please note that the finished quilts may contain other blocks other than the ones made from the "Charity Quilt Block Challenge." Our contest asks for only three colors-red, white and blue.
Hopefully, you will find your donated quilt blocks in one of these quilts. If you would like to make some blocks yourself, check the right side of this blog for the link of all the guidelines under charity sewing.
