High Street Congregational Church Fabric & Craft Supply Fair in April

This is one of the best ways to add fabric and craft supplies to your stash without paying lots of $$$!

This event is on Saturday, April 8th from 9-1 at the High Street Congo Church, 106 Pleasant St., Auburn.

I've been cleaning out my sewing room and rented two tables, so be sure to stop by and say hi!



Refreshments will be available for purchase. And don't forget to bring along your large shopping bags to tote away all your new treasures!

The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary Fabric Fair in May

The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary Fabric Fair will be held on Friday, May 12th from 9-2 and Saturday, May 13th from 9-12 at a NEW location--AMVETS Robert W. Boyd Post II, 148 North Yarmouth Rd., Yarmouth.

If you haven't attended one of these sales, you are in for a treat. Lots of fabrics, yarn, crafts, notions, books, patterns and other related items.

Area 3 Meeting Meeting May 9th

Mark your calendars for our next Area 3 Meeting co-hosted by Village Scrappers Quilters of Livermore and Grammy's Choice Quilters of Canton on Tuesday, May 9th.

The meeting is located at the Wayside Baptist Church, 1724 Federal Rd. in Livermore beginning at 10:00 a.m. A full lunch with sandwiches, desserts and beverages will be served.

Our speaker is Dan Perkins of Threads Galore Quilt Shop in Rangeley. He will be giving a trunk show and also displaying and selling the Studio 180 Design tools (Dan is a certified instructor). The quilt block for this meeting is the Friendship Star (the finished block will measure 12 1/2" square).

 These blocks are to be made in patriotic colors. Also, you are asked to bring along two Show n' Tell items to share with the group.
