Silica packs found in pill bottles are perfect to put in your metal pin containers to keep moisture out. You can glue or tape on the inside lid.

“Over the River and Through the Woods” Holiday Open House
“Over the River and Through the Woods” is the theme for a holiday event sponsored by Alewives Fabric, Calico Basket Quilt Shop and Quiltessentials, Inc.
On Saturday, Nov.14th from 10-5 and on Sunday, Nov.15th from 12-5 from you are invited to visit all three shops for great shopping, good food, and holiday inspiration.
Each shop will be hosting a display of holiday gift ideas, demonstrations, and holiday cheer.
A drawing will be held at each shop for a $200 gift basket. There will also be a Grand Prize of a $300 gift certificate ($100 from each shop!) that will be drawn from those who choose to visit all three shops.

Nancy's Sewing Center Closing Sale
Nancy of Nancy's Sewing Center in West Belfast will be closing her shop for regular hours after Dec. 31st. She will, however, be open sporadically after the first of the year. Please call first before making the drive to visit the shop to be sure she will be open.
In order to clean house, she currently has $3.00 off a yard of fabric. All books, patterns and pillow forms are 25% off and buttons are 50% off.
