Bring along your lunch and beverages and dessert will be served.

2018 Gathering of Eagles Ministry Quilt Collection

Co-Sponsored by Pine Needles Quilters

Laura Freeman of Pine Needle Quilters announces that last year we delivered to four of our five reservations. Our collection included quilts, blankets, new clothing for children and adults, baby needs, sewing machines, toiletries, and money toward heating assistance.

Every year this collection seems to grow and we try to bring what is requested. We are expecting to deliver this year to all five reservations.

We need to collect quilts for at least double-size beds, afghans, and fleece blankets. The teenage girls would like to receive sewing machines to sew their own Native regalia along with fabric, needles, and pins. The machines must be in good working order. They still need baby items like diapers, clothes, formula, baby carriers, car seats, and toiletries for babies and new moms. Donations for any of these items would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for supporting our Native people in Maine.
