Missing Quilt from Bridgton**UPDATE
**UPDATE**
I would like to deeply apoligize to the Chickadee Quilters as there was mis-information regarding this missing quilt. The quilt is missing from Bridgton, but NOT from the quilt show in July. The quilt was stored in a storage unit in there and is missing.
Barbara Teevan is searching for a missing quilt, "Crystal Lakes" made for her daughter Deb. The label on the quilt is marked and sewn on the back corner:
"Crystal Lakes"
A Darlene Zimmerman pattern.
Made by Barbara Teevan
Downey, California
For my Daughter,
Debbie Van Gorder
Sidney, Maine
June 2009
If you have any information on this missing quilt, please contact Barbara directly at 592-923-0576 or email her at barbtvn@aol.com

If you happen to have a larger cutting table or work area, might I suggest you add on one end a metal square or yardstick for quick measuring?

Recyling Denim Jeans
A couple of weeks ago, my tablet crashed and I had to reboot and reload it completely. Imagine my surprise when I found out my 7.3k pins on Pinterest were gone forever!
Since being on my leave of absence, the only thing I could do is watch TV, movies and pin on Pinterest. All that work gone....but guess what? Today, the computer gremlins brought it back. Now if I could only get my Yahoo toolbar to reappear...
If you are looking for a warm and durable quilt, denim is the way to go. We all have jeans too large (or too small) to wear and of course, your local Goodwill or Salvation Army has them always on sale. Just get out those Jeans (size 16) needles and oil up your sewing machine and dig into a project!
Here are a few photos and links from Pinterest:
