"The Lost Art Of Handiwork" Exhibit
Looking for something to do this summer. Check out the "The Lost Art of Handiwork" show at Museum L-A, 35 Canal St. in Lewiston.
According to Museum L-A, this is a gallery exhibit celebrating the cultural and traditional skills of creating works by the hands of Maine artisans.
This exhibit is open from June 14th-September 15th and the hours are Tuesday-Friday 10-4 and Saturday 10-3.

"Hello Kathleen. I was at our quilt guild yesterday and your name came up. I have a challenge given to me to create a quilt out of a poem. But I am in need of just fat quarters or small pieces of fabric. I am looking for
material that has the following items:
Material with kitchen Stoves. Old country stoves is preferred, However any type is acceptable
Material with tractors
Material with a pick on it. Could be toothpicks or Logging Pick
Material with brooms
Material with flash drive or computer things.
Material with wheels, any type of wheel"
