Kona Bay Gifts
at www.KonaBayGifts.com
We're thinking outside the fabric box.
For years, Kona Bay Fabrics has addressed phone calls,
emails and Facebook messages asking where a fabric for finishing a
project can be found. We have have created hundreds of free patterns
since 1991 to support quilters and shops. It is satisfying
to know they are appreciated.
We have always encouraged you to support your local shop,
directing you to our website to search our "FIND A RETAILER" feature. In
some cases, our staff has spent hours trying to track down a needed
fabric. We share your frustration when you can't
locate the Kona Bay fabric you need.
We realize quilt shops cannot afford to buy every fabric
that all the fabric companies are printing in these tough economic
times. Sadly, we have also seen many shops close because of the economy.
Kona Bay Fabrics knows it must start to think "outside the
fabric box" and be creative. We see the very fabrics many of you are
looking for languishing in the warehouse. It is disheartening for you
and Kona Bay.
We are a small business and, like your local quilt shop,
have endured the same financial heartaches of our current economy. In
light of this, we have begun listing on our sister company's website - Kona
Bay Gifts - those fabrics we know are in demand by quilters that they are unable to find in their quilt shop.
Our prices are the same as you will find in quilt shops as our intention is not to compete with quilt shops
but to keep quilters, like yourself, engaged in quilting. Our goal in
driving quilters to their local shops for fabric, patterns,
supplies, etc. has not changed. We hope only to be the alternative when
you cannot find the specific Kona Bay fabrics you need.
We strongly encourage you to keep supporting your
local quilt shop as your first option in finding the fabric you need.
Your local shop is your community and their hard work is to be commended
and honored.
Thank you for your consideration and support of the quilting industry we all love.
To start your fabric search, let's go to
