Classic Quilters Holds 3rd Annual Potluck Luncheon
Sue Lamie was hostess to Classic Quilters 3rd annual potluck lunch at her Lewiston home.
Here are several photos of quilts and projects made by their members:
Sharon F. made doll clothes to go with an 18" doll that will be a prize for a lucky student at her school as a reward for outstanding fundraising efforts.
Carole P. shares her stunning quilt
And Giselle P. shows off her Kaffe Fasset quilt
Monique M. shows off her maple leaf quilt
Sue shares that Classic Quilters meet every Tuesday evening from 6 pm to 7:45 pm at Campus Cuisine, 100 Campus Ave. in Lewiston. A few times a year though, we have get togethers at a restaurant or hosted at a member's home. April 16 was our 3rd annual potluck lunch and 15 of our 18 members were able to attend. It is always so much fun to see everyone's current projects and socialize with everybody. Happy quilting!
Quilting Tip of the Week 4.28.16
When hand quilting, pin a square of bright fabric or ribbon to wear you stopped quilting. It will save you time to find your place again.
