Sometimes you run out of storage for your larger yardage pieces. If you store them in another area other than your sewing room, try using index cards in a file box.Mark the total yardage, place of purchase and date, if washed and a sample of the fabric glued on the card. This is especially good for those larger yardage pieces saved for quilt backs. I also mark the number of the storage box it's in for quick access.
