Jeanne Wright is having a quilt exhibit at the North Windham Union Church,
Route 302, 723 Roosevelt Trail, in North Windham on Friday, August 24th
and Saturday, the 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Ms. Wright will display a dozen antique and vintage family quilts and over 80 her own personal quilts.
All proceeds will go to our church’s Discretionary Fund. Their need for help in the community exceeds their current funds and it is their hope it will take the burden off many shoulders.
One quilt, as mentioned in a past issue of the Patchwork Press, was made and donated to raise funds to help repair the big top at the winter headquarters of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus using various materials.
For more information, you can contact Jeanne Wright at 207-892-2809 or by email at nanajaw@roadrunner.com
