SO, GRAB YOURSELF A LARGE POT AND ADD:
7 CUPS OF SPRING WATER AND 2 CUPS WHITE SUGAR.
BOIL THE 7 CUPS OF WATER. ADD SUGAR; MIX WELL. REMOVE FROM
HEAT AND COOL TO ROOM TEMPERATURE.
ADD 2 CUPS BOILING SPRING WATER AND 4 CHINESE GREEN TEA BAGS (USE ONLY CHINESE
GREEN TEA) IN A SEPERATE POT. REMOVE FROM HEAT SOURCE AND LET COOL TO ROOM TEMPERATURE.
DISCARD TEA BAGS, AND ADD TEA MIXTURE TO COOLED SUGAR WATER MIXTURE.
ADD ONE-12 OZ. CAN EACH OF LEMONADE AND ORANGE JUICE CONCENTRATE. MIX WELL.
ADD EITHER OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: 2 CUPS OF WHITE RUM OR BRANDY.
I HAVE ALSO USED THE 151 PROOF BARCARDI (WHICH IS VERY POTENT!), BUT SUGGEST YOU TRY
THE COCONUT RUM. DOWN RIGHT YUMMY!
ADD RUM TO MIXTURE AND POUR INTO FREEZER CONTAINERS. COVER AND PLACE IN FREEZER FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS. THE MIXTURE WILL NOT FREEZE COMPLETELY (DUE TO THE ALCOHOL).
TO MIX DRINKS:
IN A TALL GLASS, ADD ENOUGH OF THE SLUSH MIXTURE TO FILL THE GLASS HALF FULL. FILL THE REMAINER OF THE GLASS WITH YOUR CHOICE OF MIXES, SUCH AS GINGER ALE, SPRITE, 7-UP, HALF AND HALF, ETC. STIR AND ENJOY.
BEWARE—THIS DRINK IS POWERFUL, ESPECIALLY IF USING THE 151 RUM. THE SLUSH MIXTURE WILL LAST FOR MONTHS IN THE FREEZER, THAT IS, IF YOU CAN CONTROL YOURSELF!
