The date is Thursday, Sept. 26th from 10-2 at the Bethel Alliance Church, 251 Walkers Mill Rd., Bethel, ME 04217.
Our speaker will be the renown Margaret Solomon Gunn of Mainely Quilts of Love. I'm sure you have all been inspired by viewing her stunning quilts at our own Maine Quilt show. As a professional, award winning longarm quilter, she is also a published author of "Margaret Solomon Gunn: Design Inspirations." Here is a link to her blog
Margaret will be giving us a trunk show of her work, a slide show and a discussion on how she started quilting that turned into an impressive longarm enterprise. She will share tips for your own domestic machine quilting and answer questions on how to quilt for success.
I personally have know Margaret for over ten years and have had her quilt several of my own quilts. Her work is breathtakingly beautiful, especially when you let her have carte blanch to do her own creative quilting.
