Here is an idea for a I Spy Glass quilt. There isn't a pattern for the quilt itself, but you can get the idea by the photos. The spy glass above doesn't have a link to the pattern, but just email me at 2013hexagonswap@gmail.com and I will send it to you so you can print off.
I increased the pattern from a photo that now measures approximately 6 3/4" long by 3 3/8" wide. I would suggest your background block fabric to be either 8" or 9" square.
How fun to use your novelty fabrics you have been collecting for years to make that special quilt for your young ones or to donate.
